The Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC) is proud to announce the launch of the Child Safeguarding Grants Program.
These grants will enable eligible entities to apply for funding to develop capacity and capability in implementing the Child Safe Standards and Universal Principle within your organisation, sector and/or community.
Detailed information about the Child Safeguarding Grants Program, including application timeline, eligibility requirements and assessment criteria is provided on the QFCC website. Please read this information before you start your application.
Eligible applicants can apply for funding between a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $90,000 (GST excl).
There are three grants that you can select from. You may only apply for one grant type, please choose the one best suited to your circumstances.

Late applications
Late applications will not be accepted unless you have experienced exceptional circumstances that prevent the submission of the application. For instructions on submitting a late application see the QFCC website.
Application outcomes
Successful grant activities will be listed on this Smarty Grants portal and the QFCC website.
The QFCC will write to all applicants to advise of the outcome of their application. If an application is successful, you will be provided with funding terms and conditions and a request for other information which will allow the monies to be paid.

There is no appeal mechanism for decisions approving or not approving a grant.
Feedback
A feedback summary will be published on the Smarty Grants portal to provide all organisations with information about the selection process and the main strengths and areas for improving applications.
Individual feedback will not be provided.
Complaints
The QFCC’s Complaints Procedures apply to complaints about this grant opportunity. All complaints including grant decisions, must be made in writing. See the QFCC website for information on how to lodge a complaint.
